UBX Boxing + Strength Balaclava Gym Overview
UBX [pronounced you-box] delivers a unique mix of boxing and strength training across a 12-round circuit in under 45 minutes. During a UBX Balaclava gym workout, you get one-on-one time with our coaches to work on form, technique and do pad-work. We use thousands of exercises in unlimited combinations to provide a new workout everyday.
Our workout consists of 12 rounds of boxing and strength training. Six of the rounds include boxing exercises, whether that’s bagwork or one-on-one padwork with a coach. The other six rounds include a combination of functional strength, cardio and conditioning movements.
Our workouts work around your world. We meet you where you are, no matter your fitness level.

music selection, and interaction with other class-goers.
NO EXPERIENCE? Classes offer a workout for all levels, from beginners to advanced.
Simply show up with a positive attitude, participate, and most importantly, have fun. No experience necessary!
NOT SURE? When people exercise on their own, they often skip portions of a workout
they know less about or don't like. Others quit due to time constraints.
Group exercise helps overcome these obstacles with professionally designed
classes lasting a short 30 or 45-minutes. Perfect if you don’t have much time, you can choose a
class schedule that fits in with your other daily activities.
Regardless of your passion or interest, what is most important is to move. Group exercise lets you do this while having fun!

- Bring your gloves or grab a pair of ours
- Wrap up your fists with boxing wraps (we’ll show you how)
- Receive a boxing walk-through so you can learn the ropes
- Experience the workout with coach support from start-to-finish
How does the class work?
Arrive when you want - Warm-up and get ready for your workout: 12 x 3 minute rounds, with 30 sec rest in between.
Choose your round - find your exercises on the Coaching Screen, and get ready to move.
Get moving - Boxing rounds = bagwork or padwork. Strength rounds = function and form.
Fist bump, you're done - Once you’ve completed all 12 rounds, it’s time to enjoy that endorphin rush.
