Meet Vanessa

Vanessa is a Penrith personal trainer. Vanessa has always struggled with her own weight due to her love of food. She has been exercising since high school and developed a passion for health and fitness. Achieving her own weight loss goals, Vanessa can relate to many of her clients from her own struggle with weight loss.

Still youthful, but at the experienced age of 33, Vanessa is finally doing what she loves and continues to strive in her own goals preparing to succeed in the world of natural figure modelling with her eye on becoming an Australian champion. Coming 2nd to the World title holder in 2008, Vanessa aims to take first place in 2011.

Things that people may not know about Vanessa is that she has 3 years experience training in Muay Thai Kickboxing 5 days per week and that her inspiration to take this up was watching Charlie's Angels. She has also spent 6 months in Iraq while serving her country in the Australian Army.

Her dedication to improve herself and others is her new passion in life and she is very excited to be at World Gym Penrith to help others achieve the life they always dreamed of.

Training Style & Influences

I like the idea of training hard but not necessarily long - so I specialise in efficient yet effective training for my clients. Weights and cardio in that order can be trained together for about 60-90 mins giving you long lasting results.

Why I Became a Personal Trainer

After working for 17 years in jobs that I wasn't passionate about and feeling I wasn't doing what I was meant to be doing, I decided at the age of 33 that it's time to make a difference. A difference to the lives of others as well as my own!
