Meet Nick

Nick is a Edgecliff personal trainer. Nick has always played several sports from when he was in school playing hockey, cricket and cross country - to the present where exercise is part of his everyday life. He has travelled and lived abroad for 5 years in several different countries - spending winters snow boarding in Austria and summers surfing and playing beach volleyball in Spain and Portugal.

Upon his return to Australia, he decided to formalise his passion for sports and begin a career in the fitness industry. Living and working in so many different places and often having to pick up languages along the way has provided Nick with great life skills and experiences which he brings to his career.

Nick considers himself to be a very patient, understanding and encouraging person bringing these qualities to each session to relate to his clients and work with them to achieve results. Nick has a real passion and a positive attitude in what he does and looks forward to his journey as a personal trainer.

Training Style & Influences

My background in running and athletics is really evident in my training. I like high energy sessions incorporating weights/resistance training with cardio in a circuit format. I like training indoors and outdoors using a wide variety of equipment and formats to prevent boredom and repetitive training.

I also focus on having a good personal relationship with my clients and really believe that having an enjoyable exercise environment is they key to sticking to a program and seeing your goals through.

    Weight-loss - I realise the importance of combining a healthy and balanced diet with a relevant and enjoyable exercise program. I don't believe people should give up things they love but with the correct mentoring, clients can continue to enjoy life while achieving their desired health and fitness goals. I treat all clients as individuals and create new and unique programs for every session catering for the clients personal likes and goals. No two people are the same and I focus on using different exercises for different people.

Why I Became a Personal Trainer

I genuinely love exercising and training. The adrenalin and natural energy post-exercise is impossible to match. It was a natural transition for me to work in this area helping others to learn how to enjoy exercise and fitness is important to me.

I am a very social person and being a trainer allows me to work in an environment I love where I can build friendships with clients while I work.
