Rebecca is a Shellharbour personal trainer. Even as a young child, Rebecca was actively involved in both competitive and non-competitive sports. She has won 2 national titles for body boarding and has represented Australia at the World Surfing Games in California. Even to this day, Rebecca remains competitive and has competed and placed in surf boat racing, down hill mountain biking and bodybuilding/body sculpting.

Rebecca has been involved in the Curl Sense Program which helps to promote sports and activity the South Coast schools and she also has had experience working with children at a local Community Centre.

Michelle is a Shellharbour personal trainer. Michelle has been participating in sports from the age of 4 when she joined the Bronte Nippers Surf Club. Over the years she played hockey and was a member of a swimming squad for 5 years, training twice a week. Constantly involved with being active, she has stayed involved in the surf club (Nippers, R and R and Surf Boat Rowing) for over 30 years.

Now a mother of 2, a 15 year old son and a 2 year old daughter, Michelle has enjoyed passing down her knowledge and sharing her active lifestyle with her children getting them involved with the Nippers, swimming, karate and rugby league from an early age.

Michelle's journey in fitness includes completing a Bachelor of Exercise Science at Wollongong University in 1998 and has been working in the fitness industry since she graduated over 10 years ago. Since then she has continued her education completing a Pilates Matwork and Ball Course and also a boxing instructor certification and a post-natal exercise workshop.

She brings with her a wealth of experience starting her working career at a physiotherapy practice implementing hydrotherapy and gym based rehabilitation programs. Training Style & Influences
My experience while working with physiotherapists has given me a wealth of knowledge regarding many injuries including back, neck, shoulder, knee, hip and ankle injuries. This knowledge helps me to design the most effective programs for clients with muscular-skeletal disorders/injuries. A variety of equipment is used during these sessions including bosu balls, fitballs, weights, therabands and matwork. Having had 2 children myself and staying active throughout both pregnancies has added to my understanding of exercise during and post pregnancy.

Training Style & Influences
All training sessions are tailor made for each client. Therefore a pure strength training session includes a short cardio warmup followed by two to three lower body super-sets and also super-sets for the upper body (alternate between upper and lower). I also love to include cross training also combining heavy-moderate weights exercise in a continuous cycle (e.g. tabata) followed with cardio intervals of quite high intensity. Boxing is great to throw into an hour workout to keep the heart rate high and also adds an element of fun.
