Training Style & Influences
I do a variety of exercises on a weekly basis like running, swimming, cycling, kettlebell training, weight training and more. I train my clients on treadmills using interval training and circuit training which will help build them up to train outdoors. I also take them in the cycle room and do 5 minute intervals with weights. I have trained extensively since 2006 in body weight training which includes fitball, bosu and cable stability exercises so my clients are introduced to all these areas. They love it and I feel that's what keeps them coming back, variety is the spice of life.

All training sessions are tailor made for each client. Therefore a pure strength training session includes a short cardio warmup followed by two to three lower body super-sets and also super-sets for the upper body (alternate between upper and lower). I also love to include cross training also combining heavy-moderate weights exercise in a continuous cycle (e.g. tabata) followed with cardio intervals of quite high intensity. Boxing is great to throw into an hour workout to keep the heart rate high and also adds an element of fun.

Meet Cameron!
Cameron is a Northmead personal trainer. Cameron started out doing martial arts as a young boy from the age of 11 until he was 16. After he stopped he fell into the misdirection of a typical teenager. In 1999 after a 4 month adventure in South America, Cameron began to focus once more, training in mixed martial arts and kick boxing - competing in amateur tournaments in Sydney.

In 2004 during his first amateur title fight, Cameron snapped his right rib which stopped his short career. With so much time on his hands, he didn't want to waste it so he completed his gym instructor certificate while he was recovering. Once he got back on his feet, Cameron started working part time in a local gym and loved the job so much that he studied for his personal training certificate immediately.

Training Style & Influences
My training style all depends on the goals of my clients. I really like to mix my sessions up with weights, cardio, boxing, kick boxing, kettle bell training, high intensity circuits, cross fit, and more. Most of my clients are for weight-loss which I find my training works best for.

Training Style & Influences
My training style is always focused on the individual's needs. I always like having a goal for each session which has to be achieved. Kettle bells are the new craze and I really enjoy incorporating them and mixing it in my workouts with difference exercises. I always prefer using free-weights as you are in complete control at all times. I'm not the type of trainer that barks orders and stands back, I prefer to get involved.
