Meet Amber

Amber is a Macquarie Park personal trainer. Growing up, all Amber wanted to do was dance and play sports. She made the decision after school to go straight on and study fitness. It was the best decision she has ever made and she has never looked back.

As a part of the health and fitness industry, Amber feels gifted everyday to be able to help people achieve their goals and change their lives. Further on from her standard fitness qualifications, she has gone on to study much more - including her weight loss diploma, which has been one of the most beneficial experiences she has undergone. She loves the industry, her job and her team of co-workers and her clients who have all helped shape the persona and trainer she is today.

Training Style & Influences

I like to adjust to each individual clients' personality, goals and needs. Growing up as a dancer my sessions are very structured and disciplined and I really try to use the time as efficiently as possible. As a dancer we would do intense work followed by something slightly lighter. I find this is the most common structure I use during my training sessions (goal dependent of course).

    Weight loss - My nurturing and disciplined approach along with my ability to adapt to different personality styles seems to be my key to success. I have now been in the industry for over 5 years, so my experience and knowledge in weight loss is also a huge contributor to my clients' success. I have a few success stories. One of my favourites was back in 2008 when I began training a beautiful 20 year old female who managed to lose several kg in only a few months. I now have also developed a wonderful friendship with her.  

Why I Became a Personal Trainer

I have always been passionate about my sport at choice - dancing! When I decided to study fitness and become a trainer I had been dancing for over a decade. Dancing involves a lot of strength and fitness work which I loved. In year 10 at school I did a week work experience in a gym and I loved it. I knew then and there that I wanted to be a personal trainer. I have now been in the fitness industry for 5 years and have never looked back. I now aim to keep on changing lives and becoming the very best trainer I can possible be.
