Meet Tanya

Tanya is a Bentleigh East personal trainer. Tanya has been active since she was a child. Competing in everything from cross country at state level to soccer and tennis. She started training in gyms when she was 18 and completed in her first body sculpting competition when she was 22, and her second when she was 23. She won multiple titles in body sculpting in the categories of figures and pairs.

Tanya has continued training in gyms as well as doing adventure racing (Anaconda Adventure Race) and triathlons. She loves to mix up her training and believe in a balance of endurance, stamina, suppleness and strength. She has a certificate 3 and 4 in fitness, Les Mills Body Pump certification, and is looking to add TRX and kettlebell certifications.

Training Style & Influences

I bring a combination of my body sculpting training i.e. strength with bootcamp (stamina) as well as endurance (triathlon) all mixed into a challenging and rewarding session.

Why I Became a Personal Trainer

I became a trainer to try and educate people about leading a healthier lifestyle thus leading to a longer and more fulfilling life. I believe with the knowledge and inspiration I can bring to each person I train will help them make better choices in their eating habits and see them do things they never thought possible. I get self satisfaction when I see people achieve their goals.
