Meet Jonathan

Jonathan is a Caulfield personal trainer. Jonathan got into fitness training at the age of 15 to complete his basketball training. Shortly after, he began looking into pursing fitness as a career. He started off training clients in parks around Melbourne then he moved to training clients in and out of gyms where he adopted a fast-paced intense style of training. Jonathan's passion for fitness has led him to continue to build on his knowledge. He is currently completing a strength and conditioning coach certification and a pilates certification. He brings a well-rounded knowledge base to his clients to get the best out of every session.

Training Style & Influences

I focus more on non-traditional exercises such as kettle bell training and specialised strength training. I also like to train my clients in a high intensity circuit to fully maximise the effort of all energy systems creating a toned and athletic look.

    Strength training - Have had clients double their maximum lifts and shed on average 3-6 kg over 10 weeks working through a rep range of 3x7, 5x5 or 5x10 to fully exhaust the muscle and ensure maximum benefit.

    Small group training - I run weekly group training session that use kettle bells and advanced movements that you may not otherwise use. I put together a fast-paced workout to make the muscles burn.

Why I Became a Personal Trainer

I spent all my life working out in gyms and decided it was finally time to start getting paid to hang around there. I got bored one day, heard an ad on the radio drove down signed up and have never looked back since.
