Meet Pearly

Pearly is a Alexandria personal trainer. Exercise became Pearly's friend while she was studying her PHD in Molecular Biology at University. It provided her with a reliable channel for stress relief. Before she became a personal trainer, she participated in social touch football, fun runs and kick boxing classes.

After completing her University studies, Pearly decided she loves exercise so much that she wanted to help and educate others. She received her personal training qualifications at the Australian Institute of Fitness. Inspired by the knowledge, energy and positivity of all the presenters at Network, in 2003 she joined the Fernwood personal training team.

From there, continuous education and learning more about exercise and the industry is what drove her. She went to get a boxing and cycle instructor certification so she could teach classes as she loved interacting with small groups of members. Pearly is passionate about developing her skills and knowledge making sure she keeps up with the latest research and innovative training methods. She has also added Pilates Matwork to her skill set.

Training Style & Influences

My training programs are specific to my clients' needs. I incorporate a range of training methods based on my background in boxing, swiss ball, strength training and Pilates to transform my clients' minds and bodies. I also offer my clients sound nutritional advice. Fitness is not just about the physical transformation, you need to believe in yourself and have confidence in your abilities to embrace all that life has to offer. I train my clients the way I would want a personal trainer to train me. It's very personal and it works.
