Welcome to the Chirnside Park Community Hub!
The Chirnside Park Community Hub is a state-of-the-art venue that aims to empower people to learn, connect and belong.
Surrounded by parkland and within walking distance to Chirnside Park Shopping Centre and public transport, the hub is a partnership between Cire Services and Yarra Ranges Council.
The centre delivers services and programs to the community helping connect people of all ages, background and interests including:
- The Fit 4 Life Older Adults Exercise program.
This older adult group fitness class in Chirnside Park is facilitated by a clinical exercise physiologists who specialise in group-based training for older individuals living in the community.
The benefits of the Fit 4 Life for people aged over 55 years or over include:
- reduce the risk and number of falls
- a tailored exercise program that is suited to the older generation fo the community
- aid in improving physical health and general well-being
- meet other like-minded people.
- improve and maintain balance, postural strength, endurance
- give you confidence in movements for activities of daily
living
- 30-minute sessions with 15 minute
- refreshment time to rest and have a chat.
With options to increase or decrease the intensity and complexity, you can choose the fitness levels you are comfortable to complete to participate safely.
Classes run on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 am to 11:45 am where you can pay as you go for only $5 per session.

music selection, and interaction with other class-goers.
NO EXPERIENCE? Classes offer a workout for all levels, from beginners to advanced.
Simply show up with a positive attitude, participate, and most importantly, have fun. No experience necessary!

Group exercise helps overcome these obstacles with professionally designed

Gym Membership Details
The Fit 4 Life Exercise program is for people aged 55 years and over old.
Led by a Clinical exercise physiologist who specialise in group-based training for older adults, the program does not require a membership. Just pay as you go.
Each session is only $5 per session.
