Meet Rebecca

Rebecca is a Penrith personal trainer. Rebecca's experience in fitness started in her youth where sporting activities played a major part in her life. Starting off in gymnastics and netball, Rebecca loved to try many sports including football, hockey, basketball and coaching these. The sporting culture and the fitness lifestyle caused her to yearn to be in the industry so she could continue living this lifestyle while inviting others to be part of it.

Studying personal training full-time through TAFE, Rebecca quickly grasped the discipline of fitness and helping other to become fit. Continuously learning to keep up with the latest fitness disciplines, Rebecca not only focuses on creating a fun and varied fitness experience, but the foundations to help clients achieve results - including goals setting, encouragement and motivation to help people achieve results together.

Training Style & Influences

Participating in sports has enabled me to design programs that help with building fitness levels and basic motor skills. Since being in the industry I have had experience with strength training, creating muscle tone and building lean physiques.

Why I Became a Personal Trainer

I became a trainer because I wanted to make a difference in people's lives and get them results. Also to help motivate people and encourage them to push through any obstacle they may encounter on their journey.

I first met Rebecca Turner in July 2009. Having been at World gym for a few months I wanted to step up my training to the next level. I needed and wanted someone to push me, to never let me “slack off” and help me to make my goals a “reality”.

I knew in the first five minutes with Rebecca she is the personal trainer I had to have, her (Rebecca’s) knowledge and good training ethics are going to get me to where I needed to be!

My weight at this stage was 79.9kg and body fat 39.6%. Rebecca fine tuned my cardio and weight training to get  maximum results every time we had a P.T session. Even  when training on my own, she would always find the time to ask me how I was going. Now in the month of December my weight has dropped down to a wonderful 60.3kg and body fat down to 24.5% and loving it.

I will continue my P.T with Rebecca well into 2010 as I have already set in place next year’s goals. These goals would not be achievable if I didn’t have Rebecca.
