Meet Nathan

Nathan has a strong background in sports, competing in many sports over the years. He has played AFL football for the Vermont Football Club for 12 years. He has also competed in athletics for the East Melbourne Harriers becoming the Victorian Champion twice for U20's and U23's for both the 100m and 200m. He was the national champion for the U20's for the 200m in 2003. His passion for athletics led him to become an athletics coach for schools and individuals. He has coached Caulfield Grammar (2004-2007) in sprints and relays. He has been the Director of Juniors (yr 7 - 9) in 2007 and also coached Firbank Girls Grammar in 2006 and 2007. Through this he has coached many state and national level Juniors. He currently provides his expertise in personal training and also strength and conditioning for the Vermont Football Club

Training Style & Influences

I first analyse your physical capabilities and attitudes. I understand everyone works differently and apply many techniques to improve fitness for everyone. I like to use a new and innovative approach using the latest technology and techniques including the TRX suspension system training, using your own body weight to improve your mid-section, abs and posture. Also Kettlebell training to improve power, endurance, strength and cardio depending on weights used and each client's needs.

  • Certificate III in Fitness - Gym Instructor
  • Certificate IV in Fitness - Personal Trainer
  • Level 2 First Aid
  • Level 2 Track and Field (Athletics) Coach - Sprints (Undertaking Level 3)
  • Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach
