20 years experience in the fitness industry, including 15 years as a personal trainer.

At 25 years of age I started training seriously at the Caulfield Powerlifting gym, training with then renowned powerlifters.

I have since then trained all around the world, amongst bodybuilders and powerlifters, gaining knowledge and experience.

I started competing at Natural Bodybuilding at the age of 37 and have been doing so for 10 years. I have won multiple titles inc 4 Australian titles as a master competitor and 2nd in the World/AM Natural Titles

I have always been a Natural Bodybuilder, and have never taken any drugs, just natural supplements and a good diet.

Training Style & Influences
I draw on my extensive knowledge of training clients for more than 15 years and from my personal knowledge gained through 20 years training, competing and learning about proper diet and nutrition. I also like to keep changing things around to shock the system and ensure clients are always seeing results.

For beginners, I prime and condition all muscle groups and then go on to a more advanced type of training (eg. pyramid training). This has worked time and time again for my clients over the many years I have been training people. I stick to it for this reason.

I use a lot of compound and functional training in my sessions. Learning how to use the body as it is designed to work. I place emphasis on understanding technique and teaching the importance of training properly. Understanding that motivation and consistency is the key to success, it's my job to ensure clients stick with it through the good and the bad.

She also played tennis at the age of 15 and still continues to play socially today. She tried many different sports, including swimming and Karate and achieved a level of Orange belt. She always did 2 things to keep active. She always walked everywhere, and always retained a gym membership somewhere.

Kerry's career included working as an aged-care worker, so she has a deep passion for getting older adults stronger. Her journey to becoming a personal trainer began when she was taking some classes with an instructor friend. She saw great qualities in Kerry and told her to pursue a career in personal training. She followed her friend around for a few weeks and went to school at the age of 50 to become a qualified personal trainer. In my training sessions, we always do at least 4 lower body parts, and 4 upper body parts, core work and cardio in between. We use cardio as warmups and then follow a strength routine with cardio in between which may include boxing. I use a lot of weights and body weight exercises.
