Some of my favourite training (both as a participant and trainer) has been through doing boot camps, outdoor training and group exercise classes. As such, I try to rarely use machines and rather have a focus on bodyweight training, free weights, partner and group exercises and outdoor workouts.

My training is influenced from having children of my own and having been overweight before. I can understand what clients are going through and how it feels to be overweight and pregnant. My style of training from theses influences mean that I can and I do sympathise but I don't take excuses or "I cant's". Working in teams is great for encouragement and gives you the chance to push yourself that little bit more. He has been involved in basketball, football & soccer, influenced by growing up in a leisure orientated family enjoying sports such as jet skiing, surfing, snow boarding, bmx riding and even gymnastics. Completing his qualifications at the Australian Institute of Fitness (AIF), Dave draws on his many years of experience in sports to develop his training knowledge. Training Style & Influences
My training involves a lot of bodyweight training, which I learnt from when I was training as a fighter. I love to incorporate very explosive exercises including kettlebells, ropes, sleds, gym rings and more. My experience with losing weight in early stages of my life has helped me to design classes and training sessions for any fitness level.

Sharon is a Moorabbin personal trainer. Well-being & fitness has been an integral part of her life since her teenage years. Her family owned a fitness centre, so she studied fitness and taught aerobic classes, commencing what has become a lifelong fitness-training program.

Fitness Centres became and are her second home, enjoying the challenge of a wide spectrum of fitness training and techniques.

After a rewarding & successful 15-year corporate career, in the travel & advertising industries, Sharon transformed her true passion into a new career. Inspired by her own love of exercise and the healthy, optimistic way she chose to live life.

Undertaking fitness qualifications studies in 2007-8 and a Diploma of Yoga teacher training in 2010, she founded Dare2bfit in 2008. Dare2bfit also operates rejuvenation retreats in Thailand.

Sharon's industry knowledge is kept fresh and up to date through regular attendance at physiotherapy/personal training seminars, international health retreats, Filex fitness conferences, & Yoga courses including Ashtanga, Hot power, Iyengar, Satyananda, Sri-sri and Hatha Yoga.

Meet Brendan!
Brendan is a Moorabbin personal trainer. As soon as Brendan turned the age of 18 he was at the local gym attaining his first membership planning on training 3 days a week which became 5-6 days a week hoping to get through his first 3 months and easily breaking the 3 year mark.

After leaving school he started an apprenticeship and after 2 years of doubting his enjoyment of the trade he gave it up to follow his passion of the gym, turning his hobby into a career. Studying at Holmesglen on campus gave Brendan an edge over many of the other courses offered due to the contact hours being plentiful.

Training Style & Influences
Due to my main interest in fitness being the gym itself most of my training sessions are based around strength and conditioning. Using circuit, high intensity interval training, tabata, Olympic lifting, body building techniques. Although when training outdoors I use alternative tools like power ropes, agility ladders, focus pads for punching, sprints and Body weights.
