Meet Bruce!
Bruce's experience goes back many years to a time when he had a crippling work injury which left him unable to utilise upper body movements. For 15 months he went through a treatment called The Feldenkrais Method which gave him back 60% of his mobility. From then he started to study exercise and completed his certificate 3 and 4 in fitness at the Australian Institute of Fitness. Through his studies and experiences he was able to rehabilitate himself further to a point where he is now close to 100% mobility and has lost more than 17 kg that was put on during the incapacity of his crippling injury. Bruce continues to expand his knowledge in many areas of fitness. As he was able to get his own life back, he is now ready to give back and spend the rest of his life doing the same to other people.

Training Style & Influences
Due to the injury that I had, I understood people's circumstances and I structure my programs to each individual's needs. I do it in a fun, safe and progressive way in order to get you to where you want to be without the risk of injuring yourself.
I have an advanced certificate in boxing for fitness and my Niddrie personal training studio is a Thump Boxing for fitness accredited studio. This allows me to use many training styles to suit the individual including weights, boxing, circuit, fitball and many more.
I also like to complement my training with my network of professionals from doctors, chiropractors, osteopaths, physio and nutritionists to give my clients a total wellbeing solution.

My 5 years experience in netball coaching has helped me lead groups and individuals. This is one of my passions and is very rewarding to me. My coaching skills have helped me to design, organise and plan effective training programs through warm-ups to skills training. I use my leadership qualities to motive my clients or groups to help them reach their goals. I like to incorporate a lot of running and functional training with some occasional weights training.

Peter has had a background in karate for over 5 years, participating in training and competitive tournaments. Following on from martial arts, Peter began strength training in the gym environment. Learning about his family's history with diabetes, fitness and helping prevent the diabetic effect has become an important aspect of his life. In my training sessions I bring energy, excitement, empowerment and encouragement. I have had 5 years background in martial arts training and recently became a qualified THUMP Boxercise instructor. This enables me to use the most effective boxing from both worlds and also to mix it up and keep it interesting while tailoring programs to every client in how they like to be trained.

Meet Michael!
Michael has always been inspired by physical people and their capabilities. As a young child he threw himself into sports straight away participating in athletics, football and swimming, competing at a state level. During his teenage years he moved into combat physical activity, participating in boxing competing at a state and national level in martial arts. He knew his passion was in exercise and fitness and at the age of 16 he began working at a local leisure centre starting with cleaning jobs and working his way up. He later graduated with a VICFIT accreditation but took his knowledge to work and live in Europe working in different gyms for a period of 10 years. His valuable experience over the years helped him refine the fitness concept he wanted to bring back to Australia - creating a results orientated gym, not a wellness health club. Fitafex Gymnasium was born - a place for people to improve themselves and bring out the best in themselves. During his career, Michael has had a lot of mentors that taught him so much about the industry, but his bread and butter revolves around boxing, martial arts and sport specific training. His training style is now renowned where in 2008 he was employed as a combat coach for the Essenden Football Club working with elite athletes who are highly motivated and respond to the demands of his training methods. But his style has helped so many more people. He loves working with children, running regular school programs, working with sporting clubs and corporate clients on a daily basis. Training Style & Influences
I like to combine resistance training exercises with a lot of hand-eye co-ordination skills, such as speed ball training, focus pad training, and dynamic and agility exercises. Combine this with my method of eating which is a low GI fresh food strategy, which provides a total balanced sugar level, detoxifies the body, and creates an environment where the body metabolises fat very efficiently. My sessions are results orientated, bringing out the best in people. I utilise my elite athlete training methods at a lesser intensity with day to day clients increasing their fitness levels and depleting their body fat effectively. I provide a results training session you will enjoy.
