Training Style & Influences
My style is high energy, dynamic, fun and challenging. I enjoy entertaining my clients and getting them to love training. I use a combination of bodybuilding, boxing, Muay Thai to help clients increase their conditioning, tone, strength, speed power and agility.

Meet Hamish!
Hamish is a Richmond personal trainer. Hamish has been in the industry since 2008. Personal training is something he always knew he'd love, being a people person with a passion for fitness. Hamish's passion stems from his sporting background. Known as a sporting fanatic, his favourite sport is AFL. Hamish has played footy for over 16 years and has learnt many valuable life lessons along the way including how to deal with massive setbacks and failures, how to embrace amazing triumphs, being part of a real team environment, injury prevention and one of the most important things which he uses in every day life: goal setting.

Hamish's love for the game brought him to Melbourne shortly after finishing high school and once finding his feet, he completed a personal training course. Within 4 weeks of becoming qualified, he started at New Level Personal Training in Richmond and have never looked back. Hamish loves his job and finds the role incredibly rewarding and satisfying. Training Style & Influences
My footy background influences the way I go about goal setting and motivating my clients but doesn't necessarily influence the way we achieve these goals.

My average client is after weight-loss and improving body shape, therefore I've found sticking to basic resistance training techniques works best.  I always try to to remember to keep it simple and that there is a reason basic movements are still around...because they work.
