Meet Jackie

For the past 12 years Jackie has been heavily involved in the more extreme of sports. From BMX Racing to Boxing and Drag Racing. She has learnt many things and pushed her body to do some crazy things. This love for sport and a good challenge brought me to begin a career in personal training. After completing my Certificate III in Fitness - Gym Instructor, and Certificate IV in Fitness - Personal Trainer, Jackie went straight into personal training at Genesis Fitness Clubs Gym Melbourne where she has been ever since.

Training Style & Influences

Having done and played a part in training amateur boxers for 3 years, Jackie likes to bring boxing in for a great cardio blast in her sessions every now and again. Though she has this her bag of tricks, she also mixes it up with some of the other areas she specialises in (see below).

    Boxing: Jackie is currently running 6 week boxing courses in which she goes through the very basics of boxing technique to some great combos which both challenge the mind and body.

    Corporate programs: Jackie has helped assis in training some employees from Datacom in their "Biggest Loser" challenge and as a gill in training a group from National Foods.

    Pre/Post Pregnancy: Jackie has trained a number of ladies into their third trimester of pregnancy.

Why I Became a Personal Trainer

Because it is what I love. How the body works and fitness are things that seem common sense to me and so interesting. Also, I wanted to spread my love for health and fitness to those who have fallen out of love with their own health and fitness.
