Meet Andrea

Through losing more than 30kg herself, Andrea has experienced and understood the journey that one goes through for weight loss. She understands the key aspects of continuing to educate yourself and keeping yourself motivated to make long lasting changes. With this knowledge, she can appreciate what people go through to change their lives. Watching people become fit and strong is what motivates her. Maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle has enabled her to participate in activities such as triathlons, kickboxing, functional training and be active in nutrition and weight management. This was all due to using a personal trainer herself to get herself into health and fitness which helped her understand the power of personal training.

Seeing how other places have failed in reaching people's goals, Andrea's drive has enabled her to create her own gym environment where women can make life-long changes through education, support and motivation - through the same means that helped her reach her goals and through the discovery of the power of personal training.

Training Style & Influences

I use a lot of compound and functional training in my sessions. Learning how to use the body as it is designed to work. I place emphasis on understanding technique and teaching the importance of training properly. Understanding that motivation and consistency is the key to success, it's my job to ensure clients stick with it through the good and the bad.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Fitness - Gym Instructor
  • Certificate IV in Fitness - Personal Trainer
  • Level 2 First Aid
  • SPT Systemised Personal Training Certificate (in compound and functional)
  • Kickboxing experience (18 months coaching)
  • Kids Check Pass (can work with children)
